The jokes are also very repetitive. Yes, we get it, Spencer sets shit on fire. Yes, Sam has a buttersock. Quit reusing the same bloody joke when it was not funny to begin with! Still, I should give this show some credit. While it's horrible, it's nowhere near as bad as the monstrosity that Zoey 101 was back in the day. But this is not some of Dan's better work.
Carly herself is a bloody Marie-Sue and Sam is an Anti-Sue. I find Carly annoying as hell, but that's up to debate, so I'll let it slide. However, she's undeniably a bad role model as well as Sam for the age group that watches this (8 year olds). I confess, I'm not a real fan of the show, but I've seen a fair share of episodes from time to time. Mainly for background noise (heck, I'm doing it now as I write this). Not to mention, Carly is incredibly shallow. It comes again in this particular episode, so I'll make sure to point it out.
Another thing I feel I should point out...why the hell does Sam keep getting away with being a soulless prick? Why does she get away with beating up her supposed friends? Why does they keep spamming the laugh track while this happens? That's no funny...why are you telling kids this is funny? If this was funny, the kids would be laughing their asses off. But no, now they just assume this shit is acceptable. Great life lessons.
And then there was that entire fuckin' Fred episode. I blame these jackasses for his rise to power. Not gonna go on and on about this, but Fred is stupid. He's not funny. He's about as funny as your Mother dangling keys in front of your face. In addition to all of this, the acting in iCarly just sucks.
They don't know jack about teenagers. For example...NOBODY SAYS NUB! It's NOOB! NOOOOOB!!! God damn it! And nobody says shiz either. Either say the damn word or just puss out like Nick wants you to. Don't even get me started on the Random Dancing...
The only redeeming thing about this show is in iStart a Fan War when they told their shippers to settle the hell down. That the show isn't about shipping. It's about
Alright, getting to the episode...it was pretty average and pointless. Kind of a letdown considering they claimed it was the "best for last". iGo to Japan could have been a closing episode, but not this. It was way too plain. Too pointless. It felt so average until the last bloody minute.
Carly is pretty much emo about not seeing her Dad for the first hour. And I mean...she really is emo. This episode may be the last one, but it wasn't very dynamic or exciting. So the least I could ask from it is to be funny. But it's not. It's actually one of the weaker episodes and that's saying something.
In other news, Gibby gets a new head copy and Sam gets a motorcycle...kinda...anti-climactic for the last episode. Freddie? He gets a phone case. Yeah. That's what happens in the LAST EPISODE. So yeah, iCarly is bummed because her Dad isn't gonna take her to a dance. He says there's no way he can make it and that he's not showing up. Everyone else tries to cheer her up by offering to go, but it doesn't work out. This brings us to part two.
Then Colonel Shay appears...out of the blue! No, seriously, he just comes out of nowhere. He doesn't explain himself or anything. He doesn't reveal that something came up, which allowed him to magically come home in less than a day and he doesn't say "I came to surprise you!" or anything like that. He just shows up. Alright, I think I vented on that enough.
Turns out Colonel Shay isn't here to stay. He has to go back to go back to...Italy...yeah...Italy. Maybe I'm the only one confused. Maybe I missed some important info. Or perhaps I am merely confused due to my ignorance in geography and politics, but why the hell is he in Italy? Is the iCarly universe at war with Italy or something? Why would someone from the Navy have his base camp in Italy? Actually, wasn't it confirmed that, typically, Colonel Shay was out deep at sea, far away from land? Again, maybe I'm just confused due to my lack of knowledge in terms of military. If someone wants to clear that up for me, go ahead. Actually, apparently, looking back, he's in the Air Force, not the Navy...this brings up 3 questions.
1) ...Why is a U.S. Air Force base in Italy?
2) ...Why was he in a submarine if he was supposed to be part of the Air Force?
3) I just realized...last I checked, they said he was in a submarine near Alaska...so where the hell did this Italy stuff come from?
Anyway, here's the catch, Colonel Shay offers Carly the chance to join him in Italy. And, I shit you not; this is literally how the conversation goes down.
Colonel Shay: Hey Carly! Wanna go with me to Italy?
Carly: ...I don't know...my friends and my brother live here...
Colonel Shay: ...Well there's hot guys there. =3
Carly: OKAY!
Talk about shallow...this also brings up another question: Why didn't Colonel Shay initially offer this opportunity to Carly? Before he left in the first place? Regardless, the web show is cancelled. So they do a minute long final iCarly (way to middle finger your fans) where they pretty much halfass all the usual jokes and call it quits on the show.
Carly then kisses Freddie...and...like everything else...there's no reason for it. It just happens. She then borderline makes out with Sam with Lewbert watching awkwardly. And because they couldn't think of a way to make this more anti-climactic and boring, they close with a clip show. It sucks. The End.

Well, for some reason, people LOVE Drake and Josh, and they still show it. But I HATE Drake and Josh, I dont understand how people love it
GET OVER IT.
